I hope you enjoy the gallery as much as I enjoyed taking the pictures. I am like having an “Anime Boston Hangover” right now as my friend calls it. I am like so depressed that the con is over and I didn’t get one friend. I am really hoping to find some of the people I met at AB07 on the forums. The cosplayer who cosplayed as L is my favorite. An artist with a passion, but no story yet.

Okay guys, I have been awake since 5:30, I MAY have gotten 1 hour of sleep but I’m not sure since my girlfriend kept elbowing me in the face while she was asleep… and I was attempting to do the same. So bear with me, I’m running on convention energy (a new energy I founded through the wonderful world of anime and brought it to life… okay random, moving on).
There is this really good artist at Anime Boston (hopefully she will be there today too), she has the skill with the arts, but not so much with getting the story done. I would have actually liked to talk to her more and I may today but with all the events at the con I may not be able to. So this is what I’m telling you guys; go to her deviantart page and post ideas for a story based on what you, as a consumer, see in her art. Make sure you tell her that you were sent to her page by mkast of deviantart.

Save Internet radio now!!!

I am a huge fan of internet radio. I really love the stations I have been listening to while using winamp to browse the shoutcast stations of both video and audio feeds. I just love the radio on the net because it’s free and most stations are interruption free. But I have noticed that the most successful stations and even some of the smaller stations have been telling us about what may soon happen: the end of internet radio. It is inescapable if we don’t do anything! We need to voice our opinion! I am voicing mine! See! PREVENT THE END OF INTERNET RADIO!!! Send a letter to your representatives using this easy site to do it. If you don’t I swear I will be mad once I hear of your uncaring for it!

Inevitablity

Inevitability is a force much like religion. Both are invisible and only in the minds of the people who believe it. Or is this the truth? Could Inevitability be a true invisible force? Could it really be inevitable that that horrible thing happened to you really couldn’t have been stopped, or can you take precautions to extremes to prevent it? These are a lot of questions I ask myself. When I feel that something was inevitable I do not blame it on anything, most people blame their god or higher power. Well, I hope that sparked your mind a bit because it was sure fun to have people think more because of these few words I said to other people.

Review: Candy Fruit Maid Costume Site

Well if I had the money I would surely buy one of these costumes purely out of my own desires >.< but seriously I looked through this site, it has quality costumes! If you plan on looking for Maid Costumes, I would look no further than this site unless you are looking for more gothic lolita costumes because currently at the date of this review they only have one gothic lolita costume. This would be a great site if your need a uniform and you live in Japan, because lol this is the kind of stuff they use for uniforms. *glee* Check out the site!

My best friend happens to be a douche… (a bashing post)

My best friend is well… a douche. I don’t know what makes him want to be one, but he happens to be one. He is very much like my ex; manipulative, cocky and a complete ass (yes the mule) at times. He has manipulated me just like my mother and my ex once did. I am through being manipulated by him. He uses girls and never seems to learn that by playing around with girls he can hurt peoples feelings, and if he does realize it… well that’s another count for being a douche. In all my relationships, when I am with someone he either tries to endanger my relationship and gets in the way, or just totally bashes on my current girlfriend. I don’t know what his motives are, but he pisses me off.
I told him I would protect my girlfriend, and even stop time for her, because he asks what I would do for her. Then he goes on to say he’s going to stab her… Now I know he won’t do it, but I say in return; “I will kill you for her in vengeance.” Then he goes on to say sick and twisted things like he will rape her, what the hell is he on? Ugh! He pisses me off so… What makes me be so loyal to being his friend? Why do I feel like he is a brother to me? WHY?!

I’m a little worried…

My first paycheck was supposed to be given to me yesterday, but they said it won’t be given to me until next week. Next week is the week of the Anime Convention. They told me when I started working that I would get my paycheck yesterday, but I didn’t get it. I don’t really trust that they will do what they said they would and combine this week’s due paycheck and next week’s due paycheck… I really want to go to Anime Boston (the convention) and I have a ton of plans for it. I even have work scheduled for me to take those days off. I just hope nothing goes wrong…

MY infatuation X_X with asian things…

Why am I so infatuated with asian people and asian things? X_x
I feel as if I cannot escape it. Should I fight it? I don’t know. If I see things on the shelves of a store with asian symbols I feel like I absolutely MUST have it. A few things I have yet to get but really want is; a fan, a katana, all the anime in the world, all the manga is the world… The list goes on but I’d much rather not list too much. I love ramen, but lately I have gotten sick of it. Too much ramen makes me fatter than I already am >.< What about the continent of asia is it that infatuates me so much? The flashy lights of Tokyo, or the bootleg devices from China? Maybe it’s just a side effect of watching so much god damned anime… I give up, it’s no use fighting my craving for Asia. One day I will visit and see all the places!

XP or Vista?

Windows has been the mainstream OS for a long time now. Bill Gates is rich and still getting richer. Computers are getting better, but are the OS?
I was skeptical about Windows XP at first because I didn’t have as much control over it as I did with my Windows 98 SE. Also, they said it was faster and cleaner and better looking. Well they were right. It was also very much more stable. Is it true for Vista too though? Was XP really needing an upgrade? Was XP REALLY not as good as we needed anymore?
I think not. Vista is better in some ways but it’s also confusing to the XP users. It’s a whole new generation of OS. The good thing about XP was it is able to run just fine on a piece of crap computer, but with Vista you need the newest systems to run it. what if you need to run a program that takes up a lot of resources? Which OS would you choose? XP of Vista? XP of course because it doesn’t take many resources to run, but Vista is “feature packed with goodness” providing if we have 2GB RAM we can run that program AND Vista, but a lot of us are still stuck on P4 systems with our 256-512MB RAM and our 1.6GHZ Processors, which could in theory run Vista but then our programs would lag and everything would be a mess. I have also seen that Vista out-of-the-box has UI glitches, and they glitch more on systems with the minimum requirements which a lot of new computers have now and those computers are unable to have XP on them because you cannot find the XP drivers anywhere for the hardware if it was a system pre-installed with Vista. Also I hate those vista pop-ups!
All I am saying is do we really need Vista?
